Oracle Database 10g

The Oracle Database runs in Version 10g (g = Grid Control) and is acting as Data Repository for the Infopark CMS Fiona Content Management System.

MySQL 5 Database

Its main applications are

PostgreSQL

Exclusively for the OMERO application (mainly used by the Lightmicroscopy Facilty, Dr. Günter Giese), a PostgreSQL Server was set up. OMERO a is modern server and client software for visualising, managing, and annotating microscope images and metadata. It is a collection of separate components that provide image visualisation, annotation, importing, archiving, protocol recording, and user administration.
